Today November 20 2018 is transgender day of remembrance. Transgender day of remembrance is a day to remember all the transgender people that have fallen throughout the year. We read the names of the transgender people who have fallen not to be sad and not to mourn but to remember them and to carry their strength with us throughout the year. Unfortunately this list is pretty long do to societies hatred for transgender people. That doesn’t mean we should give up fighting we need to continue the fight for equal rights for transgender people. All of the transgender people who have fallen would have wanted us to continue the fight to better the transgender experience for our kids.
